Envy The Night is everything this kind of novel is meant to be. It has been a long time since I've enjoyed a mystery novel as much as Envy The Night. A more fitting title: Envy The Writer. I have seen the future of "The Best Mystery Writer in America" and its name is Michael Koryta. But we come to novels to meet fresh faces, and Michael Koryta delivers. This book had me from the first page, and much to my surprise, kept me reading hard and fast until the last. We all read (and writ

"His Best Book Yet--Until The Next One :)" according to Book Diet. I'm working my way through Michael Koryta's backlist after reading his more recent books, and Envy The Night might be my favorite. I enjoyed it as much, if not more, than Last Words. The non-stop action in Envy The Night made the book un-put-downable and left me wanting more. Absolutely loved it. Can't wait for his next book.. R. Johnson said Don't Miss This Thriller. I am so happy to see that other readers loved this book as much as I did. I have read all four of his books and like one reviewer said, he just keeps getting better. I won't write a synopsis because the other reviewers have done such as excellent job as well as outlining why this book is a "must" for crime/thriller readers. It is not only a believable scenario, but incorporates tension, humor, good characterization, etc. It is highly touted by such well known authors as Ridley Peason, Michael Connelly and George Pelecanos. Please give this author his due as he se. Taut mystery with a surprise ending Kindle Customer Thomas This was another great book by the author. It was well written, with a tense, taut plot, and a surprise ending. The characters were believable and the dialogue was crisp.Frank Temple III is now 24. He was told when he was 17 that his father, a professional killer and US Marshall, was betrayed by Devin Mattesson. Matteson lured Frank's dad into the killing business, and then turned on Frank's dad to save himself from prison, according to the FBI. Frank has been warned that Matteson is on his way back to Wisconsin and decides to kill him.But there are other people
