A Brief book of Daily Thoughts This book is not deepand its daily entries are very, very brief. If you're adding a daily devotion to your Lenten walkthe "giving up" of time towards the development of a daily habit, this pamphlet is one that is very easy to work with. Each daily entry is but 1 or 2 paragraphs longmaybe half a page. On days you'd like to deepen your discipline, you might consider reading the one line Bible passage referred to within its context (open your Bible and find it, reading the entire passage) and keep a journal of how the day's entry gives you perspective that applies to your own life.. just like the pamphlet I don't know how anyone could give this a bad review. If you have read this via paper copy, it is the same. I was given a copy a church and wanted a permanent copy for next year so I bought the kindle version.. "Helpful" according to SOLARES. Peaceful and helpful for everyday prayer during the Lenten season and for reading during the rest of the year as well.
