The MSAR is the official, authoritative guide to all of the allopathic medical colleges in North America; it would be unwise to apply to medical school without using it as a guide. In the past it presented an overview of each school on a two-page spread complete with admissions statistics, selection criteria, pre-requisites, and curriculum information. It doesn't even list the require and recommended undergraduate courses!! This book is not worth consulting much less buying!!
This must-have book, often called the "bible of medical school guides," is the number 1 source for medical school applicants. MSAR is the only resource fully authorized by medical schools.. Completely rewritten for 2010, this year's edition of the guide features a more affable tone, new chapters, expanded data and information, and a color-infused format. The MSAR is the number 1 source for information on newly accredited medical schools, application procedures and deadlines, selection factors such as MCAT & GPA data, medical school class profiles, costs and financial aid packages, MD/PhD and other combined degrees, graduates' specialty choices, and updated USMLE policies. The 2011-2012 edition features more information than ever before
