I always love the 1990s Paddington cartoon series when it aired and later put on DVD. While the opening theme just briefly explain how the bear came to live with The Browns this book has Paddington starting out with his Aunt Lucy in Darkest Peru and telling the reason for him to stow away on a boat to London as well as doing into more details than original classic children's picture book of . before going to see the movie and it was WONDERFUL - funny Joy22 My son and I read one chapter aloud every night before going to see the movie and it was WONDERFUL - funny, a bit suspenseful (but nothing scary), and adorable. We really enjoyed this book together - it's perfect for kids AND their parents. ;) I highly recommend this book!
