The Southwest landscape comes to life in the author's capable hands, and while the narrative's pacing is a little pokey, there's lots of lovingly evoked scenery to make it a pleasant trip. Jance's other series, featuring Seattle cop J.P. Joanna's fear that her daughter might be in the killer's sights adds an extra dose of adrenaline to her efforts to find the man who left the body for Jenny and Dora to find. Fun book babywilly I really like James books, especially Joanna Brady's stories. Great female hero, normal but a good Sherrff . Fun interesting and never dull.. Can't get enough of Joanna Brady I love these books to the extent that I bought and binge read the entire series in less than a week.. Great Series phanf I love the Joanna Brady series. There is just enough mystery to be interesting, but not to scary.
