"Love the book, hate the small print" according to Sandra H.. I use to have this in several books. While I love Shakespeare, this book is very large because all his writings are in the one book. For those of us with poor eyesight it may be difficult to read even with reading glasses. The print is very small.. Kindle formatting for Modern Library RSC edition There are many reasons to obtain many different editions of Shakespeare, and so I have. I wanted an edition primarily based on the First Folio, mainly because I realized that so many of my beloved Arden and Oxford single editions were based on Quarto editions. Also, as a way of escaping paper that was - ahem - rather paper thin, I thought that obtaining a kindle edition would be a great way to go.Howeve, I was very much disappointed by the Kindle formatting here. The lines are numbered every five lines, and the number is superimposed over the first word of that line. No matter what size font is chosen, this remains constant. See my . I bought this particular version of the Complete Works because it comes with free audio, which is excellent to have handy when reading Shakespeare. However, the Table of Contents only exists for the first part of the book--the tragedies. To read a particular play that's a comedy or history (or any of the sonnets)--in other words, 75% of the book--you have to click onto the last "chapter" listed--Titus Andronicus--and page through to find the work you're looking for. What a HUGE pain! If you're buying this on Kindle, might want to find a better version, unless you plan to simply read the b
