But whereas Kirk’s mission is to boldly go where no man has gone before, Lars is boldly going where other men are—in a desperate attempt to save his home planet Earth. The rest is SciFi history. Also includes the science fiction adventures, Battling Bolto, the story of a giant, con man who’s running an interstellar scam, while the biggest trick of all lies right under his nose; and Tough Old Man, in which an aging constable’s lack of feelings is not a matter of insensitivity, but of a secret—and surprising—side of his character.. It is somewhere the mind doesn't like to go, but it also makes you really appreciate the life we have now.Imagine many years from now, when the planet is dying. There are very few people left living on it. Many are cast away by Mother Earth into the distant stars in hopes for a new, and better life. As the planet sits dying, the Earth's Grand President Makin, hopes to save the planet before it is to late.

This is a wonderful edition to a solid series.” – Luke Reviews. "Style that emanates pulp fiction, the tumultuous hero, and action-filled plots, that, when read, can’t help but leave the reader with a nostalgia-filled trip to a time when fiction was fun, fast, and free of restraint. The pulp era stories are exactly what Luke Reviews is all about: reading for the sheer joy, pleasure, and fun that good escapist fiction is all about
