DESCRIPTION:
Flynn is sometimes criticized for turning out formulaic work, and while that description fits here, he perfectly measures all of the ingredients for a fast and furious read. Besides terrorists and assassins, Mitch has to battle the new national director of intelligence, a craven, hypocritical, inside-the-Beltway operator. All rights reserved. From Publishers Weekly Flynn continues to ratchet up the stakes for CIA assassin Mitch Rapp, who here battles a Saudi billionaire bent on revenge, an ex–East German Stasi spy and a deadly husband-and-wife team of assassins. There's a $20-million contract out on Mitch's head, and to add injury to insult, he hurts his leg during a morning run. After a knee operation and an even more serious mishap, Mitch is out of the hospital and hot on the trail of the evildoers.
For years, Mitch Rapp's bold actions have saved the lives of countless Americans. This time, he must use all of his vigilance and determination to save himself before he can turn his fury on those who have dared to betray him.. They have decided the time has come. He has killed with impunity, tortured to avert disaster, and shown he will do whatever it takes to prevent terrorists from fulfilling their bloody wishes. Now, the powerful father of a dead terrorist demands vengeance in its simplest form -- an eye for an eye, and Rapp instantly becomes the target of an international conspiracy. His battles for peace and freedom have made him a hero to many, and an enemy to countless more. In the tangled, duplicitous world of espionage, there are those, even among America's allies, who want to see Mitch Rapp eliminated
All of his novels are New York Times bestsellers, including his stand-alone debut novel, Term Limits. The Mitch Rapp story begins with American Assassin, followed by Kill Shot, Transfer of Power, The Third Option, Separation of Power, Executive Power, Memorial Day, Consent to Kill, Act of Treason, Protect and Defend, Extreme Measures, Pursuit of Honor, The Last Man, and The Surv

Brad Thor has better character's, although in whole the Vince Flynn series is better. I will read the remainder of the books because they are entertaining reads, but this specific boo. . I have loved all of Vince Flynn's books prior to 'Consent to Kill' and this book is another gem. While Mitch Rapp is typical Mitch Rapp kicking ass and not taking prisoners, we also find out that he has a heart. Even though this book is action-packed, I felt for Mitch RappI got mad when he was mad and sad when he was. Another great book by Vince Flynn.. Consent to Kill: Best of the first 6 books. Freebie I couldn't put this book down. Read it in one afternoon and was thrilled with the action and ending. I can't wait to read #7 with the hope if it being as good.Author finally brought out the true force of Irene Kennedy and it was the best part of the story line. It's hard to beat Mitch's character but this time Irene outshines him!I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read a thriller with wonderful characters that you feel like you know and they are truly real!Best book!
