"I Recommend 2nd edition" according to Nicole M Kearney. I high recommend investigating the differences between editions prior to making a purchase. The second edition is rooted in the variants of normal histology, electron microscopy and biology, and structure-function theory; subsequent editions to tend to focus slightly more on disease processes and special stains, with, I think, a bit of a loss of what made the book so great. I think the editors could bring more attractive illustrations to the new edition, otherwise the pictures are superb and efficient. The immense references made the book rather voluminous, which could be deducted and included in the electronic version.. I love it Linnyta I've heard some people dislike this book but I overall love it, it is intended for a very specific public like clinical pathology residents like myself since it cover all the thing that are normal but you just won't find in a simple histology textbook and of course neither in a pathology book. It has helped me lots.
