I loved the book.. Comprehensive American History This is one of the best books I have ever read. Dr. Brinkley's insights into our culture, both past and present are sharp. He presents a balanced look at all parts of the country, even the more looked-down-upon sections. How Dr. Brinkley always finds the perfect quote for any situation is amazing. It is too bad this book is so hard to find. I recomend it to anyone interested in experiencing a wide variety of . Almost as much fun reading about it as living it!
