DESCRIPTION:
AMOKArts said Bronleewee strikes again!. Matt offered the Kindle version of this book free on Facebook for a few days. I have to admit I was surprised it was free. I had read a previous Austin Adams Adventure and LOVED it. This one is equally good. I read this book in about three hours, it is a tad on the short side but it is a full, action-packed story, with a strong beginning, middle and a well written end with a cliff hanger that lets us know we haven't seen the last of Adams or his latest nemesis. Read this one ASAP, it is well worth it.. "An original action man" according to Jason Brown. My favorite rare books dealer is back after a few years of hiding from the bookshelves (pun intended). and when he shows up, he shows up at the one place I never expected Comic Con. Yes, Comic Con, the place where all geeks show up. Why? For one, his son wanted to be there. For another, it's part of a job his new client needs for him. One problem part of his job has also made him a target for an extremely obsessed collector (known as The Collector) who knows what he has. I won't spoil it for you, so suffice it to say, what should just be a day for fathe. Andrew said Great quick read!. I really enjoyed the plot and story line. The story kept my interest and I really love the characters! I recommend this author to everyone I know.
Action Comics #1 is the most valuable comic book on the planet and a target for thieves everywhere. What begins as a shell game takes a deadly turn once the collector’s plan kicks into high gear, starting a chain of events that will have lasting and lethal implications for August and his family.. When former archeobibliologist August Adams takes a job transporting the multimillion-dollar collectible from a vault in New York to the world’s largest comic book convention in San Diego, he’s completely unaware of the danger that lies ahead. Waiting in the shadows is an obsessive collector with his sights set on stealing August’s rare cargo
