"Hilarious!" according to kristyrae21. This book is hilarious! Fox is mischievous, and pig is gullible. This is pretty much a lesson like the one from "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". Fox keeps tricking pig into thinking Fox needs help, and when Fox finally does need help Pig doesn't believe him. The story is hilarious and involves pranks, getting squished under things, and even using wigs as props. It is a cute book and an easy read for beginner readers. My 6 year old made it through the entire book . "Four Stars" according to Beth Goforth. Charming read out loud.. Everything a Beginning Reader Needs in a Book Deborah Fidelman This book has all the things that early readers need and like: humor, pictures that tell part of the story, just a few words on a page, an easily read font and rhyming. I have kid tested it with several struggling readers, they all loved it.
With comic art and simple language, this Level 2 reader is sure to have kids rolling with laughter.. In the style of Mo Willems, Jonathan Fenske tells three humorous stories of two friends, Pig and Fox, and their shenanigans with a cardboard box (all of which involved Pig accidentally crushing Fox in the box)
