DESCRIPTION:

Oxy-Acetalene Welding book. papax4 This is a reprint of a pretty old welding book. But, it has a lot of basic knowledge about metals, and their makeup that are well defined. Although technology may have superseded a lot of the material in this book, I still give it a thumbs up, as some technologies don't change much over the years. Especially since it’s cost to Prime customers is $0 if downloaded to your Kindle.. It was an OK book I bought this for my husband's Kindle Fire and his biggest complaint was that the book referenced several illustrations but there were none on the Fire - what's with that? In any hardcover or paperback book the illustrations would have been close to the reference which helps to understand what the author is talking about. I don't understand why the illustrations were left out.. "disappointing reproduction of an excellent older book." according to William R. Meyers. The info presented is good, but none of the illustrations in the original are included, greatly hampering its usefulness. Better to look for it or similar works at Archive.org or Google Books. With modern means of copying such works, there is no excuse for so crippling a good book.
