Lady Vyk said Best system, it works!. My granddaughter had failed math in the 7th grade, was positive she couldn't do and hated it. I started homeschooling her with the Saxon publishing math series. She did excellently, grades went to A's and while in college, she tutored other "math haters" She's done great, and so have the other homeschooled kids that I know of. Working thru the problem sets in small increments keeps things more understandable. If a problem is missed on a quiz/test, the problem set where it came from is noted. As a retired engineer and a math tutor, I am very pleased with this entire series and would recommend it to anyo. VERY good systematic learning M. Heiss Don't wait - hurry up and get this book while you can.I am currently bootlegging the old Saxon math algebra 2 book from another homeschool mom. OLD Saxon math is a good system for teaching arithmetic and mathematics.I do not recommend NEW Saxon math (published in the 2010's).. PRE CALC NO PROBLEM for the first time my daughter is not only getting Algebra but now Geometry is making sense as well
