Gail Christian said Highly enjoyable. I like mysteries. Not necessarily legal thrillers or corporate anything or cases dealing with banking, insurance, etc. However, I enjoyed this book even though it is about most of those things. It sounded interesting so I selected this as my free Prime book for the month.I have to say I didn't find this to be something I couldn't put down. In fact I read several chapters only to move on to other books for a while. However, when I returned to this reading. Almost Gave Up On It Jack Finch As I finished the first few chapters I nearly decided to delete the book and get another one. I stayed with it and the following chapters developed into a story I could sink my teeth into. It comes to a thrilling conclusion and it went from the trashy bin to a pretty good book.. Shades of Hitchcock Sheldon Pudick Mike Farris just delivered another great mystery. This has a ring of Alfred Hitchcock in it. Ordinary guy, a little bored, gets caught up in a series of murders. Farris knocks off his first victim on the first page and it's all mayhem from there. The "hero," Scot Anthony, is an attorney for an insurance company that insures banks against employee theft.
