I took the course online This book helped me achieve my goal of not depending so much on others. after a couple of days I was able to write simple code on my own.. Jim said learn it from the book. This book is associated with an on-line course taught by the author. Perhaps with the course some of my confusion might have been alleviated. It is mostly a quick read that explains with examples. You really should work with a database and execute the examples. It treats the subject a bit more thoroughly than another intro text that I have.
