Someone who heard him said something to the effect that the mighty building in which he preached (St Paul's in London) was nothing compared to the great edifice that Donne built in words and in The Word.
Unfortunately, UC Press made the dust jackets out of a rather cheap paper.. Still has original dust jacket--though the jacket is in fair to poor condition. Minimal marginal annotations in pencil. This is volume 5 only from the University of California Press set
